Grow Your Own Illinois is now the administrator of the Grow Your Own Teacher Education Initiative
Thank you to the co-sponsors, Rep. Rita Mayfield and Sen. Iris Martinez. The Grow Your Own Teacher Education Act was amended on July 26, 2019. It provides that Grown Your Own Illinois shall administer the Grow Your Own Teacher Education Initiative as a grant competition to fund consortia that will carry out Grow Your Own Teacher preparation programs.
