GYO Secures Contract with Chicago Public Schools

In 2016, Grow Your Own Illinois secured its first-ever contract with Chicago Public Schools to assist with the recruitment and retention of diverse teachers. Though GYO has partnered with CPS for years, this contract recognizes GYO’s unparalleled ability to train the most diverse teachers not just in the city, but across the state. Since then, we have renewed the contract in 2019. We are working on our 2nd renewal contract with CPS for 2022-2025.
